Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using EduBold, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service Description
EduBold is a cloud-based school management system provided by Indivar Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The service includes:
- Student information management
- Fee collection and accounting
- Academic management and assessment
- Communication tools (SMS, email, WhatsApp)
- Mobile apps for parents, teachers, and students
- Integration with Tally ERP and payment gateways
Subscription and Pricing
Subscription Model
EduBold operates on a per-student annual subscription basis. Pricing is customized based on your school size and selected modules.
Payment Terms
- Payment is due annually in advance
- Invoices include applicable GST
- Late payments may result in service suspension
- No refunds for mid-year cancellations
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 90 days' notice. Existing customers receive advance notification and grandfathering for the current academic year.
User Responsibilities
Account Security
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- Ensure staff members use individual accounts (no sharing)
- Use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication where available
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to breach security or access others' data
- Reverse engineer or copy our software
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data beyond normal usage
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
Data Ownership and Access
Your Data
You retain all rights to data you enter into EduBold. We do not claim ownership of student records, financial data, or other school information.
Data Export
You can export your data at any time in CSV or PDF format through the dashboard.
Data Deletion
Upon subscription cancellation, data is retained for 90 days, then permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion or legal obligations require retention.
Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Uptime Commitment
We guarantee 99.9% uptime per month (excluding scheduled maintenance). Scheduled maintenance is announced 7 days in advance and conducted during off-peak hours.
Support
- WhatsApp & Email Support: 9 AM - 6 PM IST, Monday-Saturday
- Response Time: Within 24 hours for standard queries, 4 hours for critical issues
- Dedicated Account Manager: Included with Professional and Enterprise plans
Intellectual Property
All EduBold software, documentation, trademarks, and branding are owned by Indivar Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service during your subscription period.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indivar Software Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of EduBold. Our total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
By You
You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days' notice. No refunds for partial years.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate service for:
- Non-payment beyond 30 days
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms with 30 days' notice via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in courts of Mohali, Punjab.
